Rome, Two Ways
Shooting the same trip on a Leica M11 and on film, back to back.
In April 2024 I spent a week in Rome shooting two ways at once: digital frames on the M11, and a few rolls through the M4-2. Same city, same light, two very different textures.

The digital frame is cleaner and holds more shadow detail; the film frame has that grain and a softer roll-off in the highlights that I still reach for the M4-2 to get.
